Westville Council approves Public Works contract, introduces ordinances

NJ WESTVILLE — Westville Borough Council approves three-year infrastructure contract, ordinances. The Council voted unanimously to memorialize a Public Works contract running through December 31, 2029, and approved a two-year Shared Services Agreement with the Westville Fire District for rental housing inspections. The Council introduced Ordinance 1-2026 to amend I-4 industrial zoning standards and Ordinance 2-2026 to authorize property acquisition at 185 Broadway through negotiation or eminent domain, with all six Council members voting in favor of introduction.
Engineer Jon Bryson updated the Council on USDA-funded Water Treatment Plant modifications including granular activated carbon filtration and PFNA removal.
